Ty is a co-founder and the CEO of Fulcrum Properties Group. He began his career in real estate in 2009, after a decade in project management, serving clients in the technology, environmental, and aviation industries. While serving as an agent representing buyers and sellers, Ty received recognition from clients and colleagues alike earning designations as a Five Star Real Estate Professional, a Zillow Premier Agent, a Trulia Top 1% Agent, the Washingtonian’s Best Agent of 2018, and a Washingtonian Top Agent every year since 2016.

In 2018 Ty pivoted his focus from directly serving clients to coaching and training, ensuring that every Fulcrum agent could meet the same standards of success and performance. The ensuing result has been Fulcrum’s growth from a small, regionally noted real estate team, to one of the nation’s premiere real estate firms. Since 2019, Fulcrum has continually been on the top 10 Keller Williams teams in the country, as well as a top 100 team across all brokerages. As of December 2022, Fulcrum has helped over 2,300 clients buy or sell more than $1.2B worth of real estate.

In addition to helping build Fulcrum’ s success, Ty has served as a Mastery Coach for KW Mega Agent Productivity Systems (MAPS), a top trainer for KW Command, was a founding agent advisor for KW LABS, and has served on multiple Agent Leadership Councils.

Ty is a Texan by birth, and has called the DC region his home since 2003. He and his wife, Liz, met as neighbors on Capitol Hill in 2006. They married in 2009, then welcomed their children, Emma and Zachary, in 2010 and 2013 respectively. The family enjoys being a part of the Capitol Hill Community’s diverse scenes, as well as spending time at their home in Culpeper County.
