Summer Camp 2025
Join us for a daily dose of CHAWsome art, sunshine, and new friends! These small-sized art camps will encourage learning and connection through each activity and art project. CHAW staff will be present on site to ensure campers’ safety and well-being throughout each session. Field trips include trips to the botanical gardens, local library, and splash parks.
CHAW is committed to providing accessible, affordable programming to all students: tuition assistance and payment plans are available to anyone who wants to participate. Please email brian@chaw.org with any questions.
CHAW’s 2025 updated safety measures:
-face masks are optional
-each camp day will include indoor and outdoor time (weather permitting)
-sign in and out of each camper for contact tracing
-small weekly groups limited to 14 students maximum
-facilities will be cleaned regularly throughout each day
-hand washing and sanitizing will be encouraged
Jr. Arts Camp

Tuition: $275.00 per week
Camp for students who are at least 4 years old and have NOT YET completed Kindergarten by June 24, 2025. *No exceptions will be made.
Arts are the perfect creative backdrop for imaginative play spaces, social development and curiosity driven activities. Each week culminates in demonstrations for family and friends on Friday at noon. All materials are provided, campers only need to bring a nut-free snack and drink for daily snack time.
Camp weeks are June 23-27, July 7-11, July 14-18, July 21-25, July 28-August 1, and August 4-8. Please note that there is no camp the week of June 30-July 3.

Arts Adventure Camp

$600.00 per week
Camp is for students who have already completed Kindergarten by June 24, 2025 and enrolled through 5th grade. *No exceptions will be made.
Spark your creative curiosity with studio arts activities each morning like 2D and 3D visual arts, drama, and movement. Then grab your sunscreen and sneakers for afternoons full of swimming, parks, games and local destinations. Each camp week wraps up with a Friday arts showcase for families. All art materials are provided, campers only need to bring a nut-free lunch and drink, and a snack and drink.
Camp weeks are June 23-27, July 7-11, July 14-18, July 21-25, July 28-August 1, August 4-8, August 11-15, and August 18-22. Please note that the week of June 30-July 3 is a separate Field Trip Week.

Field Trip Week

$120.00 per day or 150.00 for the entire 4-day week
Join us for a fun week of field trips to arts and recreation sites in and around DC! CHAW Teaching Artists will lead students in fun and artistically educational field trips, with cool-down time at the end of each day.You can select single days to fit your schedule or the entire week at a discounted rate.
Camp is for students who have already completed Kindergarten by June 24, 2025 and enrolled through 5th grade. *No exceptions will be made.
*Food is not provided, please pack a nut-free lunch and one or two nut-free snacks.
Camp runs Monday June 30, Tuesday July 1, Wednesday July 2, and Thursday, July 3, 2025
(Please note CHAW is closed on Friday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day)
