Nancy Arbuthnot: Visual Arts

Nancy Arbuthnot is a poet and artist living in Washington, DC, always on the lookout for beauty in the mundane. After a career teaching literature at the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, she delights in conducting art and poetry workshops for children, homeless women and military veterans. She has published several books combining art and poetry, among them Wild Washington: Animal Sculpture A to Z; Postcards from the Border: Poetry and Watercolor Meditations; and the forthcoming Remember Me Singing: A Catoctin Mountain Alphabet.
