Maria Conticelli: Immediate Past President

Maria Conticelli is the Chief of Staff for the Family Online Safety Institute (FOSI), an international non-profit dedicated to keeping children and families safe online. Over the past decade, Maria’s primary focus has been in the non-profit sector, leading and building teams, managing day-to-day operations, and implementing effective strategies for programmatic success. Maria graduated from Saint Mary’s College with degrees in theater and communication studies, and she received her master’s in child development at the Erikson Institute in Chicago. As a former actress, some of Maria’s favorite theatrical roles include the White Witch in The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe and Florence Unger in the female version of The Odd Couple. Maria has been a resident of D.C. since 2014 and has developed a deep appreciation for the artistic communities that are strongly rooted in this city.
