Haley Murphy has been a theatre director and teaching artist for over twenty years. She is the founder and director of Dodgeball Theatre, an educational theatre company with the mission of educating, developing and supporting the next generation of theatre artists through workshops, staged readings, mentorship, and through the Teen Ensemble, a devised theatre program for teen performance artists. She has worked regionally around the country, including developing and directing a summer drama camp for youth in western Maine. She continues to direct and teach in the DC and Northern Virginia area – developing workshops and curriculum based creative drama lessons, supporting and producing new works, and directing projects across all ages. She is a winner of multiple local theatre awards and is a graduate of Bennington College, where she majored in Directing and minored in Early Childhood, and she is currently a student in the Creative Teaching Through Drama certificate program at Catholic University.
