“Postcards from Summer” is an interactive workshop for all ages where participants will create their own “postcards” from an imagined or remembered location that brings them peace or joy.  Participants are invited to draw, paint, or collage the front of the postcard, and write a short message to themselves or a loved one on the back. We will start with a prompt to imagine a (summer) day where they feel completely at ease, then move into the art-making and message-writing portion. This workshop will be a fun, creative “escape” from winter, giving participants the opportunity to create their own summer, wherever they are, and despite the season.
