Cut It Out: A Dangerously Absurd Paper Collage Making Session
In this workshop, participants are invited to reject logic and take imagery entirely out of context. Capitol Hill Arts Workshop Artist in Residence Khadija Jahmila will share her process of letting the subconscious lead through the assembly of cut and torn paper. Using provided second-hand materials and guided by specific prompts, you will reimagine personal narratives to create your own surrealist composite works. All are welcome, and no prior experience is necessary. Free to the public.
