Charlene has been working at CHAW since 2012. A Washington DC resident for over 30 years, Charlene has graced the northwest quadrant with her calm demeanor and serves on a neighborhood board for co-op residents where she works with youth on annual projects. After finishing her DCPS career at Dunbar Sr. High in 1989, Charlene went on to attend Hair Academy School for hair in New Carrolton, MD where she received her hair license and continued to practice her art of styling for over 16 years. While working in the beauty industry Charlene also took positions in banking, tax revenue, and after a short break, found CHAW and has been here ever since. Charlene loves dancing, singing, and cooking and enjoys spending her spare time with her family traveling all over the place.
