Carol Antezana: Photography
Carol Antezana (she/her) is a Bolivian-American Portrait Photographer based out of Northern Virginia. Carol is a graduate of The Corcoran School of Arts, where she received her BFA in Fine Art Photography. She completed her Darkroom Residency at Capitol Hill Arts Workshop where she created a series called
Mother’s Aguayo in 2020. She was part of the Inside Out, Upside Down at the Phillips Collection and her work Las Gringas was acquired by the museum in 2021. She likes to incorporate film and instant photography in her personal life, especially when she travels. When she is not at CHAW, she can be found doing newborn photography sessions, beading jewelry, and thrifting.
