Juror Carolina Mayorga, a Washington DC-based interdisciplinary artist who has exhibited her work nationally and internationally, will present the awards at the opening reception on Saturday, October 8, from 5:30-7:30 pm.
Her artwork addresses issues of social and political content. Comments on migration, war, identity, translate into video, performance, site-specific installations, and Two-dimensional media in the form of photography and drawing.
