Danny Cackley graduated with a BA in Drama from the University of Virginia. Since 2010 he has been acting, teaching, and choreographing all over the country and in the D.C. region. From 2013-2014 he was a member of the National Players (Tour 65) and performed three classical plays in rotating repertory for 11 months, in roughly 35 of the 48 contiguous United States. He also developed arts curriculum and taught over 500 students. In the D.C. area, he has worked with the Shakespeare Theatre Company (as an actor and teaching artist), Folger Theatre, Studio Theatre, Young Playwrights Theatre, Taffety Punk (CHAW’s Resident Theatre Company), Faction of Fools, Flying V Theatre Co, Brave Spirits Theatre, Educational Theatre Company, and LiveArt DC. Danny is an Advanced Actor/Combatant, certified by the Society of American Fight Directors. He joined the CHAW staff in 2017, and is thrilled to be a part of this thriving artistic community.
