Zoe Wampler: Dance
Zoe Wampler (she/they) is a DC-based movement artist, educator, and arts administrator. Zoe’s practice as a dance educator focuses on Creative Movement, Modern Dance, Ballet, and choreographic skills as tools for fostering bodily autonomy in students of all ages. Zoe believes that consent and individual agency are equally as important as rigor and discipline in the dance studio, and that having fun is essential! Zoe is also a certified teacher for Level I of the Elemental Body Alignment System (EBAS), a series of structural integration and range of motion exercises. They can be found teaching young dancers at Capitol Hill Arts Workshop, and as a guest artist in the Foot in the Door Series this fall at Dance Place.
