Valentina arrived in Washington DC in 2021 and has been teaching ceramics at CHAW ever since. Born and raised in Chile, she holds a BA in Industrial Design and is deeply passionate about teaching adults and kids. Valentina loves the wheel and also her favorite technique is handbuilding and making ceramic jewelry. Her work in pottery led her to create her brand Chercan Project in 2019 which has been featured and exhibited in retail and online stores. Valentina finds daily creative inspiration in the resilience and beauty of nature.
