Irene Chow: Music

Irene Chow studied piano and violin as a child, and she earned her B.A. in Music from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.A. in Music Performance from Fresno State University. She taught her first violin student in 2003. After a few years working as a freelance violinist, she began to focus on violin teaching. Irene discovered a passion for the Suzuki philosophy of violin instruction and is certified in Suzuki Violin Levels 1-4. She loves being on the faculty of the Suzuki Violin program at CHAW. Her other joys include knitting, yoga, chocolate, and most of all, her three children.
