DESCRIPTION:[above:   “Square Swirls”  by Marilyn Saks-McMillion] \nBy Design\nThe last show of the 2024 CHAL Art Season will open with a reception on Saturday\, November 2\, from 5:30-7:00 pm at the CHAW Gallery. This juried show has the theme “By Design” and the wide range of interpretations and media capture the imagination of design in its many forms. Juror\, Jan Kern\, an artist who creates collaged paintings that have been widely shown in exhibitions\, will discuss the selected art pieces at the reception. The show will be available for viewing through the month of November. \nCHAW Art Gallery \n545 7th St SE \nWashington DC 20003 \n  \nNote: CHAW is unfortunately accessible only via stairs. Built before the Americans with Disabilities Act became law in 1990\, our studios\, theater\, and gallery are not accessible by either an elevator or ramp.
