Open to drawing levels I and II—novice to intermediate
Students will explore basic concepts of drawing from empirical observation, using a variety of traditional and non-traditional 2D media. Additionally, students will draw upon theory—composition, expression, and perspective—and Art History to question the limits of what a drawing can be and to push their own work into new and unexpected territory. Students will be able to work to and improve upon their existing skill sets, with the ultimate goal of exploring various methods, including collage, to enhance their overall drawing experience.  Materials: 18x24” drawing tablet, Charcoal, knead eraser, drawing pencils. No class 7/4.
